NSS-2 Bridge Device

NSS 2 Bridge Device

What is the NSS-2 Bridge Device?

Many people try to make the transition through their opioid addiction detox treatment only to give up because of the withdrawal symptoms. In some cases, people avoid even trying to go through this process because of the fear of withdrawal.

These symptoms can include:

  • Sweating
  • Hot and cold flashes
  • Joint and muscle pain
  • Nausea/gastrointestinal upset
  • Diarrhea and/or vomiting
  • Agitation
  • High anxiety
  • Restlessness
  • Insomnia
  • Extreme fatigue
  • Muscle twitching
  • Rapid heart rate and/or heart palpitations

The level of the pain and discomfort addicts feel is almost unthinkable. Add to this and the fact symptoms can last for weeks and it’s no wonder why so many are afraid of going through the detox process.

The NSS-2 Bridge is a non narcotic FDA-approved device which totally changes the way we address breaking the cycle of opioid addiction.

First, it makes it possible to detox without having to treat patients with narcotic drugs in the process.

Second, it offers patients a humane way to detox. The transition from withdrawals to recovery becomes a more comfortable one.

Finally, patients don’t have to deal with weeks of withdrawal symptoms. Instead, their symptoms can dissipate within five days or less.

How the NSS-2 Bridge Works

This bridge is an auricular peripheral nerve stimulator. A patient wears a clear, plastic shell containing a small computer chip behind their ear.

Three electrodes come out of the shell. They’re strategically placed on or near important nerve endings.

The electrodes are placed:

  • In front of the ear
  • On the ear lobe
  • Between the rook and helix of the ear

The computer chip sends signals to the nerves through the sensors. In turn, the areas of the brain and spinal column affected by opioids receive pain-arresting messages.

The Bridge goes beyond dampening a patient’s need for opioids. It reduces their withdrawal symptoms – and it does this very quickly. Within five to 30 minutes, a patient can be relatively symptom-free. This relief lasts for days while the opioids leave their system.

This is an ideal remedy for people who:

  • Are afraid of intense withdrawal symptoms
  • Can’t go to a rehab facility due to family, work, or other obligations
Please note – we do not recommend this device for people with skin conditions (like psoriasis), cardiac pacemakers, or hemophilia.

Instead of relying on the same rehabilitation treatments, the innovative NSS-2 Bridge device offers a compassionate and humane therapy alternative.
